Opera Don Bonifacio Azione Verde is a voluntary organization (L. 266/91) and a non profit - organization of humanitarian actions (D. lgs. 460/97).
It is regularly registered at the Voluntary Organization with the deliberations of Basilicata Regional Council number 1650 of 15/09/2003.
The organization, whose founder and president is Rev. Fr. Boniface Duru, a Nigerian priest of the Catholic Diocese of Orlu in Imo State- Nigeria, was set up officially in the year 2000 in Italy and it was established with a notary act on the 24th September 2002 in Catanzaro (CZ) - Italy - to promote human development through training, formation and education of children and adults in Nigeria.
It has also made a lot of contributions to healthcare delivery for the poor people in Imo State. This is done every year during the VIAGGIO DELLA SPERANZA program. |
