The journey of hope is a way to promote the brotherhood of human race. It is an active part of our organization where it is possible to interact with others. It is designed to foster friendship through care and personal contact. It is in accordance with the philosophy of Azione Verde; children must learn the unity and uniqueness of human race. They should appreciate God as a creator of differences in colors, in languages, in races and understand that all is part of His immensity. We teach brotherhood to children, and they learn the meaning of love.

Not only this, we thought it wise to include in this journey of hope, a program for the sick. We believe that a sick nation is a weak nation and to be able to make valid contribution to the society, the people have to feel well, live well and be healthy. Otherwise any other attempt to development will meet with serious lack of cooperation by the people. So every year, we bring in to Nigeria a group of medical doctors and nurses who spend most of their time working for the sick and the disabled. This program has been running on for seven years and has produced a lot of good fruits for the people and has in another way assured the provision of original drugs for the people in Imo State.

It is called “Viaggio Della Speranza”which ‘means journey of hope’ where a group of volunteers; doctors, nurses, engineers, teachers and students from all over the world go to Orlu – Nigeria-  with many kilograms of drugs, medical and scholastic equipment  to render health services to millions of sick people, because of the total lack of Public health assistance in Nigeria.

 
Above all, we organize cultural exchange programs, putting together people from different regions of Italy and from different countries of the world and in a particular way youths who are interested in living experience with other peoples of other nations. Only one love keeps us together.

And in this group also we have some technicians and builders who are helping in the construction of our multipurpose academy.
